708P - Inventory

The superintendent is responsible for implementing an inventory of school property to identify items for the purpose of insurance and to control the loss of property. The system will include inventory procedures that ensure the most economical use of equipment, supplies, and textbooks and library materials is accomplished through adequate accountability, use, maintenance, and disposal practices. All loss of or damage to school property shall be promptly reported to the superintendent or superintendent’s designee.
